Before & After

I love this repurposing job by Kim of The Window Seat.  She turned an old toolbox into a wall display to house her jewelry making supplies and finished pieces.  I always see so many great toolboxes at antique stores for $10 or less, and many of them have some interesting graphic designs on the exterior.

Don't have jewelry to display?  This project would work in an entryway (you could toss your keys and mail on top and hang scarves on the rod) or in a bathroom (you could put your toothbrush and toothpaste on top and hand towels on the rod).  What a great rustic alterative to the typical shelving units you find at home goods stores!
